Dreamer
I know I am slack and have not been blogging but with the holidays it has been crazy. Ok my story for today. My son has been having these weird dreams. He is only three but can remember what happens in them. A few weeks ago he woke up and came in our room early in the morning and said "Mommy where is that ugly mean little girl." I did not know what he was talking about and just went back to sleep. He fell asleep in our bed for about another hour and then woke up again and the first thing he said when he woke up again was "Mommy where is that ugly mean little girl." I asked him what he was talking about and he said "That ugly mean little girl at our house last night." I said there was no girl at our house last night and he told me "Yes there was, that ugly mean little girl on our couch. She broke my ornament and then she went in the wooden." Wooden is what he calls the woods LOL. I was a little freaked out and tried to explain to him that he had a bad dream and she was not real. But for the rest of the week he talked about her several times. One day when we came home he asked if that ugly mean monster girl was here. I told him it was a dream and I did not want him to talk about her anymore. I was starting to wonder if he really saw something.
Then this weekend he woke up and came in our room and said "Mommy I did not get to put on my prince charming gloves." I asked him what he was talking about and he said "I did not get to dress up in my prince charming costume." I told him he was just having a dream again and then the next day when he woke up from his nap he said real excited "Mommy I did not have any dreams!" I just hope he does not become a sleep walker like his daddy because he can do some weird stuff.

Poor guy! I hate to have creepy dreams myself, let alone doing it at 3 years old. Maybe its just a phase that will pass soon. If it doesn't, I'd mention it to the doctor next time you're there. I know that some people with sleep problems have really vivid dreams. Maybe the doctor can offer some advice.
Poor kiddo. The Monkey has been having nightmares at night but hasn't been able to put into words what was causing him to scream. At least he can tell you what he is dreaming about.
Yeah, that would have freaked me out too! From the stories you've told us, I hope he doesn't sleepwalk like Danny too! :)
